I like doing stuff. I'd rather be out and about than sitting at home. Unless, of course, there's some reason I need to be home. I like positive people and bright colors. I like photography and taking my harley for rides. You see things in a whole new light. I like to watch moves. I like going to outside events. I rebuild cars. I'm almost done with a 1968 Corvette 4spd. convertible. I try to work with wood. I like to take my bicycle out riding also.

I am a guy with many interests and hobbies, and would describe myself as genuine and sincere. One of my more curious quarks is enjoying getting lost while driving just to find new places I may never have seen and it has nothing to do with being male and not asking directions, mostly, really. Well, I was recently medically discharged from the U.S. Air Force after 6 1/2 years. I was in Special Ops and thoroughly enjoyed it. I traveled all over but had time to finish my Bachelor's in Business Administration and Criminal Justice through University of Florida, Embry Riddle, and Touro University International. I am planning on starting on my Masters soon as I have about $40,000 left of my GI Bill. But, enough about that. I like everything life has to offer, both good and bad. I have lived my life frivolously in the past but now take it a little more seriously. I have not been single for more than a month since I was about 18, with the exception of being in Iraq. I am always looking but am in no hurry to rush into a relationship. I am planning on moving out of Florida in the next year or two; probably somewhere in South America like Brazil or Argentina. Even after 25+ years I still believe it is temporary, and I will eventually have a full recovery (yes, I am an optimist). I am very open about anything to do with it. All in all I am very active. Even in the wheelchair I enjoy going out dancing, and I generally get good parking!

I love the outdoors and nature, particularly the ocean and water. The mountains and desert are fine to visit, but I prefer to live near the water. I have been fortunate enough to have had a couple of houses with boat docks. I have owned a variety of boats and cherish my time on them and the water.

I enjoy people, conversation, music, dancing, entertainment, travel and cruising the islands (my passport is ready to go). I like all types of food (except Brussel sprouts). I don't smoke or do any drugs. I have no diseases, tattoos, or piercings (and do not want any). That is not to say I am offended by someone with some ink or an earring, it just is not something that I think I will ever be having done myself. And I admit, some things can be really cute and fun!

I can take or leave a beer, wine, "Boat Drink" or social drinking. I am not a "Friend of Bill", but I have met many people who are, as well as a few of my close friends.

Dessert (need I say more?). I am an ice cream gourmet.

In perhaps an entire contradiction, I can eat a Taco Bell every day, and an occasional trip to 5 Guys for a cheeseburger and fries, and Steak & Shake for malt.

By preference I am extremely romantic (with the right person). I am very sensual as well as sexual. I enjoy giving as well as receiving affection. I do not however take this lightly. I am open minded and fun, but when it comes to intimacy I am very discriminating rather than sporting. I prefer an interdependent relationship to an independent or codependent one. I have no children, but I do have a dog Brittany Spaniel and cat who shares his and her house with me. I am a morning person. I typically wake by 5-6:00 AM, and out of bed by 7:00 (unless there is a good reason to stay in bed), back in bed by 10:00 (baring any better offers). This isn't a schedule, but rather an observation.

Music - I enjoy a wide variety. As I pointed out, I am an eternal optimist. I choose to look for the desirable aspects of most things. I believe that respecting another person's view of the world, or a given situation, is important. However, respecting does not necessarily mean agreeing.

I am spiritual, though not specifically religious. I find that I am in general agreement with the basic doctrine of most religions. I have an extensive background in metaphysics. I find it allows me an eclectic approach to life.

I'm a thinker (yes it's a curse!) and love to travel, listen to rock/metal/industrial/electronic, enjoy exercising and other physical activities, and love watching or participating when I can in extreme sports (skateboarding/snowboarding/surfing/skydiving). I'm very much a 'gut' guy when it comes to a lot of things and despite thoroughly analyzing a decision for example usually end up going with my 'gut' feeling. I'm a bit of a rebel with a cause and am often driven. I don't like when people try to change me and I usually have my own unique approach to things which has in some part garnered me the name 'Mr Wonderful', 'The One', and humorously 'Big & Juicy' in the past. I have high self-worth, confidence, and pride and am usually direct and to-the-point if you haven't gathered that yet. However I still consider myself humble as I do not take to compliments well, but I'll be the first to admit I lean to the 'macho' side of things. I would have when I was younger but not anymore. I love all foods and movies and walking my dog. I love jazz, classical, opera in small doses and easy listening music, but I really don't like country. I like my man to be intelligent, up on current events and able to carry on a good conversation. There, now that's out of the way...I'm me. I'm a geek and I'm okay with it. Music, video games, computers, movies...things like that. Though I'm not against going out now and then. It's just easier to relate to people when you "stay in" than when you "go out".

I can sometimes have a brutal sense of humor, and if you are easily offended you probably shouldn't contact me. I like smart, slightly evil people. (Not literally evil, but if you know what I mean you're already working at sending me a message.)

I am a person with many interests. I like to read, garden, travel, use computers, take photos and when I have time would like to learn to paint. I am very involved in my Rotary club and also on the Rotary district level. I do most of my own repair work, take care of my pool, plant bushes, etc. I don't take care of electrical work. I am a gourmet cook but don't plan on me taking care of meal planning, cooking or serving on a regular basis. I always hire someone to clean house and take care of clothing management (wash).

To keep my brain from going dead I teach computer classes in the local adult education program. Mostly the use of digital cameras.

I have one child, two step children and 5.8 grandchildren. I am a widow.

Well I've lived in central Florida for over 3 years now. I enjoy meeting new people and going out every once in a while for dinner, drinks, ect... I'm a very laid back guy, I don't let anything bother me and I never have any regrets. I'm also very honest, almost to much sometimes. I live and work on a private ranch as a wildlife biologist and enjoy it most of the time. I work extremely hard and enjoy naps more than most people. I grew up on a family farm in southern Indiana and then went on to get my BA wildlife management(thanks;)) at Purdue and became less Indiana farm boy more preppy college kid. Now that I live in central Florida its starting to reverse on me but I'm trying not to let it. I'm very self confident and I'm definately a catch for someone. Lastly, I promise you, I'm not like any other guy you've ever met.

a great deal of my time is spent making things. making jewelry, collaborating on paintings with my brother, making people presents, crocheting... whatever strikes my fancy.

i am nervous and shy. i am easily overstimulated in many surroundings. i am not so great with social interaction, but i tend to crave it. if you can wait it out until i stop shaking, i can be sort of fun to be around (i hear). i was recently called "spunky", and after my initial giggling ceased (because i'm mentally a 12 year old boy sometimes) i thought it seemed like kind of a nice thing.

i am usually wrapped in blankets. i have to convince myself out of spending most of what little money i have on MORE blankets. did i mention... blankets? yeah, i like them. if my boyfriend could be a blanket, that would work for me.

my interests: movies,art, crocheting, word games (scrabble, boggle- hard to find people who want to play), trying to outsmart the rest of the world, sex toys in the shape of baby jesus (i don't own any, but i think they rock), really excellent beer, expensive cheese, life altering concerts......

my favorite place to be is in a movie theater, with an enormous bag of salty popcorn in my lap and a coke next to me. it's always nice if someone cool is sitting next to me too.

i'm not good at taking charge until i know someone well enough to know just about everything about them. i prefer to be the one being dragged along, versus doing the dragging. though i'd also say that "dragging" isn't very nice.

i touch everything i am allowed to touch, and sometimes even things that are off limits. my desire to touch is too strong to deny.

there is some quality in me, that i have yet to figure out, that makes me frequently hear things like, "you aren't from around here, are you?" But, yes... i AM from around here.
